JOB DUTIES:
Prepare, analyze, review, and enter necessary data in order to meet bi-weekly payroll schedule for KidsPeace and all subsidiaries.
Audit, analyze, and review wages and tax records for preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and schedules.
Prepare all payroll tax returns and deposits appropriate funds to satisfy all payroll tax liabilities.
Administer employee tax levies, support orders, loans, insurance and benefits deductions, and communicate with the appropriate agencies regarding these matters.
Complete employee wage verification request forms for mortgage approvals, public assistance, domestic relations, and other agencies.
Answer employee inquiries concerning all pay related issues.
Qualifications:
Associates preferred, High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
Prior experience in payroll or related field preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing competing and/or changing priorities.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Sound organizational, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
